Bidrage med feedbackThe staff are very friendly and welcoming. A great place to go if you are a red wine drinker. Very limited for a white wine drinker.<br/ <br/ They make their own salami which you can purchase and have with your tasting. The salami tastes amazing and is a great accompaniment for the wine.
What a treat from the staff to the management at Beyerskloof they know how to go the extra mile for the guest. Had the best afternoon and had amazing wines will defiantly see me again for more !!! And you def have to try the Pinotage salami it’s out of this world and pears very well with the wine selection that they have on offering. <br/ <br/ Beyerskloof will see more of me!!!
Quintessential king of Pinotage Beyerskloof is by far my favourite wine farm and visited this farm several times. The red leaf motif on the brand is a predominant decor feature with a small but modern tasting area creating a welcome homely atmosphere. <br/ <br/ This time around we were fortunate enough to have a cellar tour with a private tasting of the wines. From the open concrete tanks to the barrel room and cellar, we were mesmerised by the story of the winemaker, Beyers Truter, and his passion for creating South Africa's signature wine Pinotage. <br/ <br/ The tasting of the wines followed after the cellar tour and tasted some of their best signature wines. The Traildust is a bold, blend (Pinotage, Pino Noir Cinsaut) with rich cherry flavours. My favourite is the Reserve quite intense with smooth, good structure. Wonderful tasting experience with exceptional wines. Only 3 words to describe this winery Pinotage, Quality, Value!
I have many fond memories of being a student at stellenbosch and doing sunny afternoon trips through to Beyerskloof for their amazing Pinotage burgers. The view from the restaurant is very pretty and the service is always great. I must admit, I only ever ordered the burgers though because they were so good!
I've been going back to Beyerskloof for the past 5 times and this is just for the wine tasting and not to mention the Resturant (Another review for another time). When something simple is done well and it's filled with the taste and smoothness of which Beyerskloof delivers then it's worth coming back for. I loved their reserve Pinotage. The French oak on the nose brings the red berry flavors but what I love is its smooth as silk.<br/ <br/ We were fortunate enough to have a personal cellar tour with a private tasting and I loved every wine. All I can say is good wine is meant to be shared with good friends.
