Panera Bread - Statesville

Slowest Panera I think I've ever been to. I just wanted a coffee and a pastry. It took them forever to even acknowledge the order (kiosk ordering only? . Then when I asked if they'd warm up the pastry (because of the music his headset I had to ask three times before he even understood , you'd think I made the most demanding request ever. At least the coffee was ok.

This location is easy to miss so I drove by many times before stopping in recently. The freshness of their food is evident with anything you try.

On a road trip from Toronto to Miami. This is the first good meal we’ve had on the road.Ordered online and picked up in drive thru at 8 am. Mac cheese was piping hot and delicious. Oatmeal was great. Half Fuji apple salad was perfectly portioned. Bagel was chewy and fresh- in a good way.Honestly I’ll seek out Paneras for the rest of the trip.Dietary restrictions: The app accommodated our need to flag food allergies easily.

Every time I go through the drive through they forget half of my stuff. First time no soups. Second time no chicken on any of my grilled chicken salads…I won’t give them a third chance. For $50-$60 to feed our family, it’s not worth it!

Food is usually pretty good, but service is very disappointing. This location has opt 'd to do the no staff at the front counter thing and just put kiosks for you to take care of yourself. The would have a lot more business if they returned to focusing on improving customer experience.
