Ciera Montbleu Resort - Stateline

My husband and I love this place! We get fabulous service every time! John took care of us again and he is wonderful, he has perfect timing and the perfect approach and the most approachable demeanor. Joaquin was a fantastic busser. Menu highlights: lobster escargot style and the pine nut crusted sea bass! Both were fabulous! We look forward to returning on our trips to South Lake :

Extremely disappointed! This has always been our favorite restaurant at South Lake Tahoe (we visit every time we make the trip to Tahoe) and have been coming here for years. We requested a booth to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary and were seated in a remote booth in a corner of the dining room. Service was ponderously slow and no greeting or acknowledgment of our celebration. We will most likely not return.

Amazing service and food! We would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Our waiter John was excellent. He helped us choose our wine. We sat in a large private stand with curtains for privacy. John's assistant, Rocio worked at Bally's on an exchange program. She was from Argentina.
