The Granton Inn - Standish

Great go-to place in town for business lunches. Fast, good quality, consistent, and friendly. The soups and specials are typically great.

We went for the all you can eat fried shrimp special. This included salad bar and choice of potato. The shrimp were hot and crunchy. The cole slaw from the bar was tasty. We received friendly and effecient service. This square stucco building looks forbading on the exterior but give it a try.

I have eaten here regularly in the fall. The burgers are above average, the sandwiches I've had are average (Philly Steak and the Ham and Cheese). The soups are excellent, seem very much to be homemade. Wait staff has always been attentive, some more friendly than others, none have been unpleasant. Have always stopped at lunch time, they don't open until noon and we have had to wait on occasion. It has never been busy midday.

Beer, burgers, and good service. Pretty eclectic menu with lots of choices. Recommend if you are in the mood for some bar food and beer while catching the game.

Great burger!!! Real beef, soft buttered bun, great hash browns... Don't judge a book by its cover
