Sakura Sushi - St. John's

Sakura Sushi is a small and humble sushi restaurant located on the corner of campus. The prices and quality of food are excellent, and I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Inviting my friend to join me for lunch at this small restaurant turned out to be a mistake.

We had a great experience at this restaurant. We ordered the "Canada Combo" from the menu, and everything on it was of excellent quality. The sushi was really good.

Very happy to have a decent sushi restaurant in a central location in St. John's. It's not fancy but we were charmed by the pink theme. The sushi is very good and reasonably priced. Charm, good international food at a cheap price 1 block from MUN in St. John's is enough for me.

I have tried all sushi places in town (excluding Sushi Nami) and this place has been the best one in terms of quality, freshness and taste. The service needs to pick up more and menu needs some modification - e.g. why serve caesar dressing on green salad? That's not Japanese and doesn't flow with Japanese flavors! Also serve variety of bento boxes, noodle and rice dishes would be good. I like to come with many different people and a lot of them don't eat any seafood or seaweed.
