Bidrage med feedbackMy husband and I had a late dinner at a restaurant in the Delta. The waitress recommended the fish tacos, which turned out to be the worst I have ever had. The fish was supposedly halibut, but a lot of it tasted terrible and some pieces were burned. The green salad we ordered was fresh, and the Margarita Pizza was okay. I typically don't write negative reviews, but I felt like I had to in this case.
Overall, the rebranded restaurant was visually appealing, but the food and service left much to be desired. The transformation from the old Mickey Quinn to "The Pinnacle" was a disappointment, and we will not be returning. With so many other dining options in the city, the subpar service and stale food were a definite low point compared to our previous enjoyable experiences at Mickey Quinn's.
This place has been completely renovated. Good atmosphere, good food and excellent service. The new look is excellent.
I stayed at the Delta hotel for meetings twice and had a great experience both times. One day at noon, I tried the meatball sub and was impressed by the fresh, quality ingredients and delicious taste. The waiter was excellent and went above and beyond to make sure my experience was unforgettable. The night before my flight, I tried the Newfoundland poutines for the first time and was served a huge portion. My only minor complaint is that the waiter was quite attentive, making sure my plate was empty and delivering the bill promptly. The prices were fair and I would definitely eat here again.
The Executive Chef Pierre LePage has captured it all in the best food in St. John's, NL!! Staff very customer oriented, a pleasure to dine at the Mickey Quinn Restaurant which is tucked away in luxury at the Delta Hotel, St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.
