Mimi's Pub - St. Andrew's Parish

First time I was there was a couple weeks ago. Was a Saturday, surprised I was able to get an eggs Benny from the menu (eggs were perfect). Bartender was awesome.Decided to go tonight as I wanted pizza. For a 12” pizza there were 9 pieces of pineapple TOTAL and on average two pieces of this tiny ham (I think) per slice. There was plenty of cheese but it was stale. So after the first bite I asked the bartender for parm and chili flakes. The chili flakes were like plastic, the parm was typical KRAFT dry stuff most places have.I ate one piece and one bite of a piece and just couldn’t. Bartender was helpful enough and said they’d talk to the manager which they did. I said regardless I’m paying only for my beer and leaving. As I was about to get up the OWNER approaches and asks “so what was wrong with the pizza?”Ok, sort of confrontational considering she knew 10 minutes before and was socializing, not working and could clearly see I was picking up my things to leave with. Well, cheese was stale and there was almost no ham or pineapple on this HAWAIIAN pizza and it just tasted “old”. She said “well that’s how we make it, was this your first time eating it?”Yeah, first and last time since you put it that way. She walked away without another word, offered nothing in the way of an apology or replacement (which I would have paid for if adequate, unlike her pizza).So … bartenders were cool. BUT, the brunette who was firing the oven (visible to anyone in there) seemed more interested in her phone than anything and looked genuinely displeased to be where she was. Dragging her feet and just pissy looking.

Went for lunch with my mom and we were both very happy with the atmosphere and food. We had the pizza and it was delicious! We met one of the chefs who was so interesting to talk to. Told us about all the different ideas she had for the menu. Truly seemed like she loved her job! She made our experience at Mimi’s very special. Special thanks to Tracy! We will surely come again

I can't say enough good things about this place! I typically have the pizza or wings and sit outside. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. Just a nice, local eatery!Parking: Huge, mostly empty parking lot.

A little noisy for me but not a bad atmosphere. The flies are quite annoying when the patio doors are left open.

Great little neighbourhood pub and a great place for some fresh eats! I recommend the tacos! Nice ambiance this summer with the garage door style open patio. Somehow the beer tastes better here. Can’t wait to have a few cold ones this hockey season!
