Listen. Bring your Sugar Daddy cause this place ain't cheap. Just a short 5 min drive outside of Zion, this place serves up huge portions with great ambiance. A little pricier than it's neighbors down the street, Switchback is a little more on the fine dining side than casual eats. This place will put a dent in your wallet at an avg price per dinner entre of about $35-50 for a non-steak dinner, not including any starters or appetizers. Steak dinners (market price) alone will put you out $50-65 a person so bring your Sugar Daddy (or your real daddy) if you didn't budget for a meal here. Staff were friendly, my meatloaf was delicious, and they didn't mind that we were dressed for the 8 mile hike we just completed at Zion.

Great food after a long hike. A little pricey but the service is excellent. I had the filet and it was damned near the best steak I ever ate. Of course I was very hunger from the hike to the top of angels landing

Ambiance, food service 5 star! We can't figure out why they have bad reviews??? Our steaks were perfect, the au gratin potatoes were delicious we loved the spinach, grape, gorgonzola salad!! My steak was a little undercooked Lilette kindly took it back to the kitchen. Yes, it's expensive, but you are paying for a nice dinner in a beautiful restaurant. We will go back. We hiked 15 miles and went right in. It was already getting late in evening. Some people we dressed up others clearly hiked.

A high-end restaurant with open-kitchen, upscale ambiance and mahogany decor (lots of leather), floor-to-ceiling windows on mountains, and delicious meat and seafood dishes. Part of their menu is on an iPad! Service was alright though a bit cold and stuffy. We were here to hike in the Zion National Park, and came straight to Switchback after a long day up on the mountains. We did freshen up, though we were in more sportive attires since our entire trip is all about hiking. I wonder if it is due to our less than formal apparel that the waitstaff treated us differently from other tables.
