Bidrage med feedbackThis is a nice pub with friendly but overworked staff. When we arrived it was quiet but when the food arrived it was much busier so when tepid food was sent back to be warmed up it took 20 minutes as they re made the whole dish. The food small portions, poorly presented, lukewarm and massively overpriced £17.95 for a small steak pie, dollop of mashed potatoes and a small spoonful of what I think was probably shredded cabbage and leek, not sure. Extra gravy a bonus but that didn’t make up for charging a fortune for food that would have fitted on a side plate. I know prices have increased recently but this was just a rip off. Fullers pubs used to be “Ale Pie houses, that’s certainly not the case now, not sure about the choice of Ales but there was only 2 pies to choose from. I would go back to The White Hart but definitely not to eat, I would have been better off going across the road to Tesco’s for a sandwich!
This is such a lovely place the atmosphere is good, the staff were amazing. I would definitely go again next time I’m in London we didn’t have a meal there but we had drinks and snacks that were all very good.
I walked to this pub from the Hilton London Bankside as it was near the hotel and I fancied having a pint. It has a classic London pub feel to it and I was not disappointed as they featured the cask ales which I love. I had a Red Fox which is a classic caramel autumnal red ale. It was fabulous. I also had a pint of London Pride which I have always liked. The atmosphere was great and the staff very friendly. Definitely glad that I stopped in. You should too if when it that area of London!
Most impressed, good well kept ales (Hophead and London Pride), very good food which arrived very promptly. Busy but we found a table easily enough, generally much better than I was expecting, will go back.
Food portions are amazing, staff are lovely. Great place for a Roast and to spend the rest of your Sunday. We keep coming back every weekend, fantastic place
