Thames Take Away - Southwark

I have not eaten from this takeaway in over 5 years my favorite was the Special Assorted Meat with Rice. Today I ordered one for the first time and i was disappointed and this was not the Assorted Meat I remembered. When I open the lid and saw a lots of cabbage my hear sunk. The meat consit of 2 small slices of chicken, 2 small slices of beef, 2 king prawns, plain white rice and gravy. There was no pork, no scallops and the price had increased. I would have been better off buying a Special Fried Rice.

I had the pork ribs and chilli beef was so good. Will defiantly be going back! So reasonably priced too.

Nearly 30 years coming here and live across the road.Magnificent tasty food,and also amazing prices,ive travelled over the UK and World,and theres not much better for the prices.Please keep up the good work people!

Despite its unassuming exterior, do not underestimate this restaurant. We decided to dine here during our holiday as it was conveniently located near our accommodation. The food at this restaurant is exceptional. Our family ordered a variety of dishes, and each one was served hot, fresh, and incredibly delicious. We highly recommend this place.
