Rokkbank Co - South Melbourne

Everything about this place was great. The wait staff made sure we were looked after from the start, the menu was excellent. We had the feed me menu and there was so much delicious fresh food coming at us. They have a good variety of cocktails and the wines are paired nicely. Will be going there again soon.

This place is becoming a new favourite I think, loving that there is a place like this South Melbourne. The service to start was great, friendly, super helpful and knowledgeable. We started with some sake oyster shots, we had more than one each. The oysters 6 ways is amazing!!!!! You definitely have to give that a go, we also had the Japanese tasting plate and the prawn ravioli with sesame prawn toast as entrees and for mains we had the veal cutlet with pistachio and Parmesan crumb and the Chinese roast duck breast. All fabulous and to end we had the Tonka bean creme brûlée and a special birthday dessert! Loved all of it! Going back for sure! Did mention that they had a clear floor looking through to the wine cellar?

There’s a new event in town called 8th at 8 and I was lucky enough to be invited to attend the very first one that was launched on 8th of September 2019. So the concept was on the 8th of the month at 8PM you will be served a unique 8 course meal prepared by the chef especially for the night with another 7 others to make up 8 diners. The first one was as Rokkbank Co in South Melbourne and for this occasion, everything was closed to make our dinner more intimate. Entering the beautiful venue, we were greeted with drinkies upon arrival (now who doesn’t like a bit of bubbly) and we explored the venue.

My wife and I went to Rokkbank and co. For our anniversary and had a fantastic time. The food was delicious, beautiful, and served in a very timely manner. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the cocktails and wine were excellent. All of this for a very reasonable price. And that doesn't even cover the decor, it is a very welcoming atmosphere and has been designed meticulously. It has the feel, taste, and service of a high end restaurant with the price that doesn't break the bank. I highly recommended giving it a try. You will not be disappointed.

The experience at Rokkbank Co was amazing. The service was exceptional. All the wait staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and fresh. The overall look of the restaurant is exceptional. It was my first time tonight. Loved it so much I’m coming back again tomorrow!
