The Italian Garden - South Lakeland

11.55 clock, closed, waited until 12.10 clock, no sign for an opening. lunch in avanti, very pleasant. checked italian garden at 1:30 clock still closed. not impressed, the evaluation is meaningless, as we never enter the Italian garden! keith

Excellent quality and very tasty eating. pizzas and pastas were all the most extraordinary Italian foods that we had in a very long time, which was a really beautiful surprise. the restaurant was very quiet, but we enjoyed the evening anyway. we would definitely recommend the Italian garden to friends and we will definitely enjoy more of the menu! thank you

The service was extremely slow, although it was occupied only a few tables. our starters arrived after 30 minutes, but then there was a very long wait until the main course. concerning eating, the appetizers were very good, but both main courses were bland and quite tasteless. the waitress tried to handle her best and was pleasant enough, but there was no real presence that ran the restaurant they expected to see our long wait and hopefully challenge the kitchen to send our food in a reasonable time. the ambiente was a lot of one of the caffes that tries to be a restaurant, and the total layout would be put with table clothing, cutlery and weinglasses already in the place. there was no atmosphere without background music. the total bill came to £91 which was not worth money. the Italian garden must be "on his game " with regard to all asspects of the meal experience, especially in consideration of the entire fine ess competition in the city.

Great for lunch on a Saturday, kids and adults very happy and the wine was good too The pizza is better than Avanti and the location down the alley means it’s often easier to find a table here than in the Main Street Free Wi-fi, dog friendly, good food

Sat in small garden area, nice pleasant. Coffee Victoria sponge plus pot of tea with jam cream scone for less than £12, good value.
