This pub is nice and clean, with a few real ales of good quality.

Another crisp kendal pub went to the wall. many had a nice pint there watching the market over. do not lose it

Lovely place filled with lovely people. I will visit again the next time I'm in Kendal.

Comfortable and friendly. Seats and tables upstairs. Toilets and bar are downstairs. Decent food for fair price. Our waiter was great and very helpful.

The Globe Inn is more of a traditional pub with a broader menu than just standard pub fare. It is well located in the pedestrian area of Kendal. The pie of the day was steak pie which was priced well, meaty, and savory. The mashed potatoes were unspectacular, bit benefitted from the gravy. The cabbage and carrots that accompanied the meal were cooked were the proper firmness. The service was good and amiable.
