Wise Guys Pizzeria - South Elgin

I am still saddened that the restaurant moved from the Randal location, which was very close to my home. However, I understand that the rent must have been too high. Despite this, this place remains one of my top 3 favorite pizza spots in all of Illinois.

The delivery was delayed, my shrimp was overcooked, and the fries seemed like reheated leftovers. However, my kids enjoyed their personal pizzas, which were also very affordable. Despite that, I probably won't order delivery from this restaurant again.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, but I had a negative experience when I called to place an order for pickup. The young girl who answered the phone had a dismissive attitude and lacked professionalism. When I asked if everything was okay, she simply replied that they were busy, making me feel like I was a burden. I decided to try ordering from another restaurant and she hung up without any apology. I will think twice before ordering from there again.

We often order from here. it was never disappointed. the double teig is fantastic and we love her sauce. simply one of the best pizza places in the environment.

I really like this place. yes it is local, so it is not as slim and fast as the chain, but the pizza is great. I really like their crust and their options for hits make it fun to build their own pizza.
