Alexander's Cafe - South Elgin

Every time I have the opportunity to recommend a restaurant in the elgin area, I recommend Alexander’s. I never ordered anything I didn't like. it is always fast and it is always delicious. I was so grateful for them about the pandemic because they stayed open and kept my job afloat! I'm probably going one or two weeks. I love it!

My favourite place for breakfast. Very good service and delicious food.

This is a very nice place to go for some breakfast. It feels fancy but the prices are average. The restaurant is always clean anytime I go. Looks gorgeous inside. One of the times, there was a man playing the piano and it made the experience a billion times better. The only negative I have is that the biscuits I got (biscuits and gravy) were undercooked. They were very doughy inside and it was a little tough to finish.

Generous portions, fresh and over all pretty good food. Grilled fish tacos needed a bit more flavor on the actual fish. The chicken sandwhich and tenders were fresh and crispy but way too oily. Service and atmosphere were great.

We went there for breakfast and everything was exquisitely prepared with fresh and tasty ingredients. Our server Liz M. was very attentive without being overbearing. Every time we needed something she was right there to make sure our breakfast was an enjoyable meal. This while understanding that we were not in a hurry and wanted to catch up on conversation. Hope to visit again soon and be served by Liz M.
