Bidrage med feedbackAs usual here in this area the prosciutto and salumi are terrific. But this place is giving you also the old osteria atmosphere with a warm service. The menu is traditional but also exploring something new.
We met a couple of friends at the Osteria Ardenga to celebrate New Year 's Eve, as they had been there before, and of course we trusted their recommendation. Unfortunately, finding the place was difficult, as the address was wrongly inserted into Google Maps, and we met several lost people looking for the Osteria in the centre of Soragna, when it is actually 4 Km away in the outside quater of Diolo... Luckily our friends saw us walking along the country road and picked us up!!! (It looks that this mistake has been corrected now). Anyway, we were a bit late and were worried to have missed a course or so... luckily the atmosphere was very relaxed, and noone was 'on a schedule ' to get the dishes out. The restaurant is simply but freshly decorated, and has a great 'cellar ' with hanging hams and other local cured meats. The family in charge shows the love for fine traditional food and is very welcoming. As starters we had some excellent local culatello and coppa and some vegetables. This was followed by tagliolini with saffran and gamberoni, risotto with truffle in parmesan basket, an unknown fish, and some lamb cutlets in pistachio crust. We were so full. The quality and flavours were very good overall. We had then panettone, some bubbly at midnight and some fruits and nuts. We had a good and very informal night with friends, didn 't necessarily feel very festive, but that was totally ok. The owners even allowed our friend to open and drink her own bottle of wine... I doubt they would allow just anyone to do that (our friends had been there several times and she is a sommelier), but it is still remarkable. Thumbs up!
An old favorite. Excellent food, home cured meats. The mixed hot 'Antipasto caldo fantasia ' are particularly special! I love the Pisarei e fagioli at...

Tavoli spaziosi, ambiente super accogliente, ottimi piatti e cucinati con esperienza! servizio e passione nel vostro lavoro è l'aria che si respira una volta che si attraversa la soglia, ovviamente oltre ai profumi che provengono dalla cucina. ottimi vini consigliati e una selezione di grappe di veri intenditori! Tornerò sicuramente!
Atmosfera e cortesia tipica del meglio del basso. cibo di qualità e piatti originali. i vini, della zona, sono molto buoni; le verdure della casa notevole. anche i prezzi sono adeguati.
