I don't usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience. We waited for 10 minutes to order (the sign said to seat ourselves and that someone would be with us shortly), only to see the waitress serve parties that arrived after us, which was disappointing. I ended up ordering a small thin crust supreme pizza, but it was nothing special—definitely a second letdown. I also ordered a beer and a Coke, knowing that I’d still be hungry afterwards, so I got chips and queso. The cheese was good, but the chips were stale and tough, making them difficult to chew and quite uncomfortable. I mean, I get it; it’s a bar, but still. I ended up going home still hungry and planned to have another beer to wash it all down. You can't really go wrong with beer, right?

The restaurant has an old bar vibe. The gentleman who served us was friendly and managed to get our orders right despite our dietary restrictions, which was impressive. However, the broasted chicken didn’t taste like typical broasted chicken—perhaps it had old grease? My husband liked his cod sandwich and fries, but he wasn’t a fan of the coleslaw. We’re glad we gave it a try. It definitely has a local feel to it. Overall, I would rate the food a 3, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 3.
