Bidrage med feedbackDelizia, is my neighbourhood 's coffee shop in Sofia. I go there all the time. Their cappuccino is good, and they offer a large selection of cakes and pastry. They have an outdoor and indoor sitting areas. The indoor area is air conditioned, but in a nice sunny day most people prefer to sit outdoors. I like to sit indoors though, because often I am the only person there. For the most part, Delizia could be a pleasant place to get coffee and kill some time reading a newspaper and checking out Facebook. That 's exactly what I was doing, just like everybody else there, when the barista, approached me and asked me Are you going to order something else? I smiled politely and siad No, I am full, thanks. I had finished a large cappuccino and a piece of pastry already. I had given him a nice tip earlier. Nevertheless, he gave me an unpleasant look and siad Well, you have been sitting here for two hours now, without ordering. It 's time to leave. I was shocked. I was not bothering anybody, there were plenty of empty chairs and tables around me. Was I supposed to be ordering coffee after coffee and to be stuffing myself with cakes? I looked at the other customers some of them were sitting there for hours, nursing a cup of coffee and smoking. I had breakfast there every single day. I tipped him every single day. His rude behaviour was uncalled for. I don 't know whether he is the owner or not, but I do not feel inclined to go there when he is at the counter. Unfortunately, he is there most of the time. If I go back to Delizia, I will never tip him again.
Nothing very special but overall very nice place. It has a good location. I believe that it is a self service. Good place to have a morning coffee with some fresh juice or a cake.
Not bad for the weekend coffee cake, especially if you live around
Nice place to have a cup of coffee and ice cream in the open air in the summer time : Or a glass of beer.
Best coffe and pastry shop in Mladost district.
