Bidrage med feedbackWe were a family of 4 visiting for our first time here, what a fantastic experience. Albert was an excellent host who explained all the choices with great attention, passion and detail. We had a sharing starter of delicious croquettes, followed by mains of course risotto, veal and oxtail cannelloni, all the dishes were cooked perfectly by a skilled kitchen, as we were just for lunch we only had a couple of desserts which again were both excellent. We will certainly be back again and we highly recommend it is worth a visit. Many thanks team L’opera we will be back soon
Phenomenal food and service, Michelin-star quality from the risotto to the hand made ice-cream, everything was delicious!, one small criticism- the wine list was quite small and quite pricy
We now live in Sitges and it was our first visit to the Opera Bistro. And what a treat! The food was outstanding: you can’t miss the croquetas de gambas and the special besugo! The service is impeccable and Alberto’s passion about quality products is inspiring he took the time to greet us and to explain every dish. A delightful experience. We are passionate about food and we have tried many restaurants in Sitges and this is by far the best ! Thank you Alberto and team for a memorable evening. We can’t wait to come back!
Really enjoyed our last evening in Sitges, overlooking the boats, but most of all, we enjoyed the attentive help of the chef, Albert. He arranged and cooked a number of dishes for my daughter, and I was guided to a dessert I would not have considered, it was superb, thank you! I would recommend L’Opera Bistro to all, and do not hesitate to call or email ahead if you have dietary considerations. Great place for a special occasion, but also just to chill away from the busy, in town or coastal eateries. We will be back!
If you’re looking for the very best restaurant in Sitges, look no further. The Opera bistro competes in a different class. The chef already runs a Michelin star restaurant in the Spanish ski resort Val d’Aran. His new 2019 top notch restaurant right on the dock in the Port of Sitges/Aiguadolç is informal and laidback. The food at the Opera bistro is worth a visit to Sitges on its own. It’s world class. The intensity of tastes, the creativity of combinations and the innovation of the menu are all awesome. Chef Albert Jubany explained to us that he likes to create new dishes based on the great traditions of the Catalan gastronomy. We were amazed by the result, as we enjoyed three starters each before sharing two desserts. Want to follow my choices? Go for the Iberian ham, the tuna tartar picture , and the slow cooked eggs, before a carrot and celery ! ice cream tasting intensely like apricots, and crema catalana foam covering violet ice cream and strawberries. Soooo good, and so beautiful dishes! Finally, the restaurant is very welcoming to guests requiring a gluten-free diet, like myself. We became instant fans of Albert Jubany’s kitchen and will be back for seconds. If I could wish for one thing though, it would be a selection of “mostos” or other nonalcoholic beverages to go with the food. The wine list was excellent. Some alternatives other than sodas, water and nonalcoholic beer for the designated driver, would have totally broken the scale for me.
