Bidrage med feedbackVisited with family during summer. The restaurant had a good number of people dining in. The service was reasonably quick and food tastes good. Reason I gave them 3 stars is because of their gratuity tip policy. I wish I had taken a picture of thebill but essentially they included a 18% gratuity which wasn't mentioned anywhere on the menu or in the restaurant (we were aparty of 4). And, the bill included a request to tip the server for their service on top of the gratuity. It seems they arecounting on people not reviewing the bill and tipping. We would have tipped higher but their practice didn't seem right and iscertainly not the standard as their representative argued. The customer should have the choice to tip however much they'd like, any mandatory gratuity should be mentioned upfront, and they shouldn't guilt the customer for tipping on top of the gratuity. Ihope the management takes this into consideration.
Very genuine delicious cuisine?.as if we had it in India! Would love to visit again next time!
Amazing, attentive service with great food and cocktails. recommend the watermelon martini and the goat cheese aloo appetizer. the atmosphere inside was also perfect for a date night. will always go! also good prices. dinner for two with app, three cocktails and two participants was $80)
Great place, great eating, nice personal and timing to serve all products such as wine, appetizers, main course etc. everything was in perfect presentation as well as its sequence. the staff is very friendly, helpful and good listeners. I strongly recommend the common in dc area, this is better place for nice eating and great family time. Thank you. jewel indiens, team.
Visited with family in summer. the restaurant had a good number of people in which it was fed. the service was quite fast and food tastes good. I gave them 3 stars because of their Gratity Tip policy. I wish I had made a picture of the bill, but essentially they included a 18% congratulate that was not mentioned anywhere on the menu or in the restaurant (we were a party of 4.) and the bill included a request to type the server for their service on the congratulate. it seems that they count on people who do not check and tap the bill. we would have tipped ourselves higher, but their practice did not seem right and is certainly not the standard as their representative argued. the customer should have the choice to type how much they want, should be mentioned any obligatory congratulate above, and they should not be the customers for drinking money on the gratulation. I hope the management takes this into account.
