The Plough Inn - Shropshire

I stopped by as I'm moving back to the area, and I have to say that Clair and her team do an amazing job running this pub. I couldn't find any faults with it.

We visited the Plough Inn recently , as we often do, for Sunday lunch with family. Service was as usual,prompt, efficient and friendly. Food was of good quality and beautifully cooked. I enjoyed tasty, tender beef, Yorkshire pudding, delicious, crunchy, roast potato, mashed potato, roast parsnips, carrots, really good gravy and horseradish sauce. My vegetarian family members enjoyed a really excellent cauliflower cheese. Prices were extremely reasonable. The Plough offers community events within a historical setting. The hard working staff promote a welcoming ambience while also upholding safe and civilised standards of behaviour. It's hard to see what else could sensibly be required really. Heartily recommended.

Had a brilliant Sunday lunch at The Plough today, we also really enjoyed their Wednesday pub quiz this week! Nice range of ales and spirits and the staff were really friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back next Sunday!

I’ve visited the plough many times recently and always enjoy my experience. Last night I took a close friend there for her birthday. The cost of living crisis is important to many currently; the prices at the plough for food and drinks are very reasonable and affordable. The one thing that stuck out for me last night was the friendliness of the staff. I’m glad I got their names. Tom and Adam are two of the most polite and helpful young men I’ve ever met. There are problems with supply in all industries currently and they were extremely professional and helpful when telling us about the limited menu currently. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I highly recommend the venue the staff are just fabulous!

We came here for te beer festival The pub has a huge undercover area and garden out the back we were not expecting that. Real ale festival was good along with the choice from the main bar... Menus standard pub fare and families are welcome .
