Julie Anne's Bakery & Cafe - Shreveport

Everything was absolutely delicious!! We stopped in on a road trip and loved every bite!! Definitely a place to stop in for sweet or savory. The only thing I wish they?d had was a shirt I could buy to help advertise them ???????? 10/10 Loved it!

Everything is almost always fantastic. Order way ahead if you need a cake for a party, it's worth it! That said, sometimes the quality of pastries or bread is hit or miss. It's a great place for brunch or a pastry.

I came here during lunch and ordered a shrimp po? boy with roasted potatoes and a cookie. I forgot to add a drink, so that?s my fault. The lady was kind and assisted me in ordering what I had saw online. It has a typical atmosphere where you can sit down and blend in. It was quite busy, but I got my food at a normal time. I recommend this place, but come hungry, because it will fill you up!!

This is sandwich shop. I originally had their food at s luncheon. It was good. About three weeks later, I decided to try it for a second opinion. It was good both times. The only difference was, there was a chocolate cookie the second try. They do serve what could be decorative sugar cookies. They have whole cakes (varies flavors) and a lot of cupcakes. I brought my husband the red velvet, he liked it. I will definitely be returning.

Years ago when I was 11 I broke my arm and had to get a cast put on after going to the emergency room. My mom treated me to a Julie Anne?s treat and I had great memories of the place. Fast forward to today. My family and I stopped in because Whisk was closed and I was surprised by all the variety they had to offer. I wish I would have taken pictures of it all. I was overjoyed and ready to try it all. Disappointedly enough it is just your average sweet treats. Thecupcake tasted like it was refrigerated and was cold and the cake itself was dry and not very sweet. I also had a huge clump of baking soda or powder in mine and it made me spit out a bite and not want to eat the rest. The chocolate petitfour was the best thing I tried and the cream cheese danish is delicious but you really shouldn?t eat a whole one because it is rich. I?ll be back to try the food out but I know for certain I do not want another cupcake from here.
