Jacquelyn's Cafe - Shreveport

Honestly, the food was very mid. We got jambalaya and spaghetti, but the noodles were a bit overdone and the jambalaya was okay. We ate all the food because of how much we spent, but its most likely not a place we 'd come back to. The portions were alsopretty small (even though we ordered large , and a plate is about 5 6 Splenda packets in length and about 3 4 Splenda packetsin width. Spaghetti was $16 and jambalaya was $9.50! Service was like any other cafe mostly self serve

I have been eating here since this place opened. It's one of my all-time favorite places! The food is delicious. You cannot go wrong. I highly recommend the clam chowder, the shrimp salad, the chef salad, well, just about anything they have is delicious.And the apple pie is to die for.

Great étouffée! Good for pickups and lunches in general. Especially busy at lunchtimes, but service doesn't slack in the least.

Made my first visit the other day, Had Jambalaya, Shrimp and Crab Gumbo, Red Beans and The Turkey Salad. Couldn't possibly eat it all between two people, but every thing was delicious! My partner was able to make room for Pecan pie which was also great.Pretty affordable over all and the staff was super friendly and attentive. Will be back and definitely recommend !
