Memphis Blues Bbq - Sherwood Park

I like the diner experience. The price is reasonable and the service was great. The hostess was polite and friendly. The fully loaded is loaded as described but it was drowned with the bbq sauce and the seasoning for the nachos is also too much made it very salty. After scraping the bbq sauce, you can finally taste the tender brisket. They are very generous with the salsa, cream cheese and jalapeño though.I suggest that they go light on the sauce or have option for the customer to put the sauce themselves.

This place never disappoints! Every time we go, the food is terrific and the service is outstanding. The staff are always pleasant and willing to go the extra mile even if it’s just to put a smile on our grumpy kids faces. It really makes a family night out a lot easier.

Memphis Blues is where we go for a little taste of Cajun South East US cooking. Most items are pretty good here and I especially like the Jambalaya which is my usual go to item.The ribs are well cooked and soft but I'm personally not a huge fan of the flavor rub on them but it's also just a preference as I know other people like them. All of the smoked meat is done in house and cooked very nicely. BBQ sauces are tasty and some spicy.This is a casual place with an easy atmosphere. Staff have always been friendly but service is quite casual which I think adds to the vibe of the place.They definitely do alot of take out and ordering at the counter once you are in there is easy and fast.

Highly recommend Memphis Blues Sherwood Park. They have meat of the highest order so tender and juicy and incredibly tasty! We would give this place 6 stars if we could. The staff were very friendly, and the service was quick.

I will admit the meat is a bit dry and the mfk'n conebread falls apart when you pick it up, however the staff are nice and so is the restaurant. I went in hangry and left with my hollow leg stuffed to the brim, so if you are just looking for a spmewhere to stuff your face and dont care too much about the quality then this is the place. Good selection of liquor drinks to make up for the lackluster meat. Food gets a 3 star but because of service and atmosphere I'd give it a 4 star. Personally I'd go back again.
