Bidrage med feedbackPizza wasn't amazing, almost reminded me of school pizza. decent sauce, almost no cripple, cheese was fine, pepperoni was decent.
Yum! PostM had mistakes (I can't eat peppers), but managers made a new pizza and drove it over. It's delicious?special? veggie. I know now to call her directly. Five stars.
Just when you go in, this girl on the front is her name Morgan she has absolutely amazing customer service she made my first experience in Santino's great!
I believe they should consider removing the "NY" from their name. The pizza doesn't resemble, smell, or taste like the New York-style pizza I am familiar with. I was intrigued and wanted to see if the restaurant lived up to the hype. Two large slices for around $5 with some modifications was decent. However, it lacked in flavor. They try to make the parmesan, oregano, and pepper flakes stand out, but it was just okay, nothing to write home about really. If you're in the area and craving pizza, it's an acceptable choice, but not worth going out of your way for. The service was inattentive and not overly welcoming.
I am certain that there are other delicious options on the menu, but I just can't resist Angelo's Garlic Chicken pizza. I recommend getting it Neapolitan style - the square one - and asking for it to be cooked crispy, a little well done. In my experience, it needs a few extra minutes in the toaster oven at home if not cooked that way at the restaurant. I live close by and I have probably enjoyed that pizza about 150 times in the past ten years. Although I usually cook healthy meals at home, when I want to treat myself, I always go to Santino's. Unless I am craving Mediterranean cuisine, in which case I head to Alcazar and ask for my favorite dishes from my friend Vatchek. These two restaurants are truly hidden gems.
