Haroula's Coffee Shop - Seymour

Seriously the best diner I have. The owner is sooo friendly and welcoming! I love this place! The grilled blueberry muffin is absolutely to die for! ROCKS!

Today landed here for the first time; after 5 years or so in Seymour. It is a pretty experience when you go to this restaurant, and the same person welcomes you, brings you menus, cooks your food, brings your food to you, and even takes the time to tell you with pride about the history of the restaurant as well as its family! This may not be the experience everyone will have here, but I feel happy to have received that today. I can't wait to go back here to get another breakfast, and even a little cheated that I didn't check out this restaurant earlier! This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem in Seymour that more people should check for breakfast / or lunch. Parking could be a problem due to its downtown location in ancient district, but even if you have to park here and go, the atmosphere, the food and the experience are worth it!

Gus has become a family for us. Great place to go and wonderful service.

Have been by this place for years and I finally stopped and I regret not stopping before! I loved this place. I prefer small mom pop places where the food is made with TLC and Haroula's is it! The place has been around for many years and it shows in Gus' love for his shop! Gus has a great sense of humor and will tell you he works 8 days a week. His wife, Haroula and him run it and they obviously love what they do and it shows! The place is very clean and I had the best cheeseburger club I have ever had! When we were done he danced over humming with the tray of pies and we got to talk about the weather, Bridgeport history, and technology! He really was an inspiration! I always hear that mom and pop shop were taken over by chains. Sadly, many have but there are still quite a few! Please, support these smaller places! The American dream is still alive and I saw it in Gus' eyes!SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS!!
