Bidrage med feedbackThe place is near the exit glacier lodge. The food is generally okay despite a bit expensive (acceptable given the overall high price in Seward area). The broiled salmon and halibut chunk are great! They also offer conplimentary corn bread.
Advertises cheapest pound in town for crab legs. 1/2lb of snow crab for $30 August 2023. Other restaurants market price was $90/lb for the same thing. Salmon chowder was also the best in town.
Tasty food with slightly better portions than other places in Seward. Warm cornbread was good appetizer. Berry cobbler ala mode was really good!
Paid for a cab due to good reviews and already eaten at Rays the night before. Walked in and while there were many tables available we were told because we were a party of 2 we could not have any of them and there would be a long wait for a table for 2. Chose to eat at the bar. Bartender was disinterested to somewhat unfriendly but at least we were not the group next to us that she was downright rude to. I had the salmon bake and my wife had the rockfish. Both were a little over cooked but fine. We both had crab legs and these were not fresh with meat that disintegrated while trying to pull out of shell. (Had much better legs the day before in downtown Seward). My wife had 2 draft root beers which were excellent and I had 2 beers that were also good. Total price including tip was over $150 and we had to pay for a cab to and fro. Was not worth the money and there are much better places to eat in Seward.
Excellent local menu choices, with friendly and efficient service. The eclectic decor and general vibe is unique and worth a visit! Slightly pricey, but that's to be expected in the region. Will return for sure!
