Ichiban The Wharf - Sechelt

Delightful place within walking distance from our B&B. Modern feel but very welcoming. Super friendly staff. Food was very good....especially the mussels. We were mot rushed at all. Desserts were super too.

Our seating area was dirty. Lots of cumbs and what looked like sauce drippings on bench seat. The table itself looked like it had been barely wiped. Sure the food was great but nothing spoiled it worse than feeling grimy and crumby while eating. Not sure about one of the reviews I seen saying the place is very very clean because it was definitely not when we visited this past week. Won 't be returning. ?

Totally exceeded my expectations! The inside is lovely with an amazing view, and very, very clean. Staff are really relaxed, friendly and efficient. There's a variety of food options and the brunch dishes my husband and I got were well-portioned and tasted great. Ordered dishes came out really was as well! COVID precautions are adhered to.

The Porch boldly chose to open in the middle of Covid shutdowns and, after a couple of weeks they really found their stride. The pizzas are fantastic and the pastas are the best. We really like the Gouda Mac n Cheese with the Buffalo chicken! So good! The staff is great and the owner is often around making sure everything is good. We are frequent visitors. Pro tip: try the cocktails!

Just had a great evening out at the Porch. Great service. Great people. Excellent prime rib. will go back in a heartbeat.
