Sol Liquor Lounge - Seattle

Atmosphere was artistically interesting, based on a historical “orientalia” theme; Friendly sociable staff, good service. Conveniently located in walkable, pedestrian-friendly Capitol Hill; Beware the street parking can be scarce. Cocktail menu is updated seasonally, and handcrafted with fresh juices, syrups, and bitters .. albeit not strong enough (alcoholically weak) for my taste.

Sol Liquor Lounge has a very special place in my heart. I picked this place as a first date back in October 2019. I was 8 minutes late. He arrived early and ordered us each an old fashioned while I rushed to the bar in the rain. Little did I know two years later we'd be engaged and planning our wedding. I like to attribute it to my exceptional taste in date venue, but part of me thinks maybe it was just destiny. Either way, Sol Liquor was a big part of our story and we are forever grateful.
