Bidrage med feedbackThe ambiance is very good, location is also easy to find. The food variety is very good and the staff was also welcoming. The price maybe a tad on higher side, but it is worth it. The chef has maintained the flavor of the dish, even if the spiciness is reduced. One can always request for making it spicier.
The meals were differently than in other indian restaurants all over the world. The vegetables and the chicken were underdone and weren´t cut into pieces, the rice was a bit dry but good. The music annoyed in an authentic way (haha). The waitress was disimpassioned but nice.
This was one Indian Restaurant i wanted to visit after having moved to Schwäbisch HallBeing an Indian i shouldnt be comparing the food we eat here at the Indian restaurants with the ones in India, it would be just unfair. Nevertheless the food we ordered was good here in taste.Firstly as we entered the restaurant we were greeted with 'Namaste' ( a way of greeting in India) by the staff and this was a warm welcome for us.We preferred to sit out at the garden for lunch as it was a hot summer day.We did see few tables occupied with the GermansThe food we ordered was delivered and the staff were courteousThe only thing i could forgive was the salt lassi ( butter milk) ordered for the second time did not have any salt in it. They just forgot but these mistakes do happen elsewhereThe quantity and price ratio is something which has pondered me.It is expensive compared to other restaurants i have been to in Stuttgart or FrankfurtBut then there is also a justification for the same since the Indian groceries arent available as easily in this place as compared to the bigger citiesWe ordered two main courses which had to come with Basmati rice for eachInstead they actually combined the two and gave us in one bowl which was strangeGemüse Biriyani was more oilyNevertheless do try it outThe food taste is good
We took take away and liked it - a bit pricey, but very good and not as every other one you get everywhere. not too spicey btw.
As someone who moved to a smaller town from a large international city and ate first rate authentic Indian food often, I was a little surprised and bemused by this restaurant. I have never experienced anything like it! It was almost like they were trying to adapt Indian cuisine so far to local German tastes it was no longer an Indian dining experience . The menu was quite limited and I have never seen a salad bar in an Indian restaurant before. Portions were ordered and served in a European style (with a side salad) and I was not even asked if I would prefer my curry mild, medium or hot, all of which bemused me. Later I spoke to the Chef/Owner about this and he agreed that he had to adapt the traditional Indian style of dining to local tastes. After these criticisms I can say that the food tasted great and was well cooked - so if you have a craving for Indian cuisine when in the area, certainly visit. I don't think they have any competition and the wonderful interior decor and rich, sensual colours in the dining rooms make it well worth a visit.
