Anker's Fish Chicken House

My son and I took my MIL there for dinner. She hadn’t been in a long time so we decided it would be a nice treat. Anker’s doesn’t disappoint. Everyone had a great meal, and enjoyed sitting out on the deck. If you love coleslaw try theirs IMHO it is one of the best around, and the corn bread is a must get.The staff is always nice and friendly and the meals come out quick and fresh.

Food was okay. Didn't appreciate not being told about specials. Only found out about specials after next customer came in and employee told him about it.Food: 3/5

Very disappointed. First, it was super cold in the place. I had a wool coat on and was still freezing. Fried scallops the flavor was great. But omg were they rubbery. I feel like they were cooked before and reheated in the oil. The service was great very nice people. May give it another shot but not in the winter if it’s always that cold.

I absolutely love everything at Anker's from the food to the great service. There are many options offered here including dessert. They are always busy, but it is so worth the wait to grab a bite to eat! Their lobster rolls are so delicious. Highly recommended!Food: 5/5

Fried or broiled fish and shellfish. Awesome side salads and deserts. This place has been a staple in the area forever! The remodeling that was done a couple of years ago is holding up beautifully. It's super casual and comfortable. You must go.Parking: On fishy holidays the lot is full but the street is residential...so parking is easy. Be kind to the neighborhood.Wheelchair accessibility: Great ramp for all of us!
