He was such a phenomenal hostess helping out when our server wasn’t able to come help asset us with what we need. We will definitely be back for him. Terrible food at an unreasonable price. Paid 47 for a tiny sliver of steak. Also, if you’re coming here with a party larger than 7 expect poor service due to the server, our server not putting in effort because he knows he automatically gets a tip from your table. He couldn’t even bother to sing happy birthday to the guest of honour at our table, and didn’t look like he cared to serve us. On top of that we waited an hour for our drink order.Response to owner: this email is not in service? How can i contact you?
Salads were ok. We got the Cesar and avocado. Caesar was ok after adding lemon. Avocado bacon salad I think it was called Cobb was needing more flavour or something like garlic or lemon. Lettuce wrap was excellentService was poor. Ours kept chatting with a coworker at the bar while others could be seen running back and forth between their table and the kitchen as well as ours to help him out. Not sure what was going on there. We were going to order dessert but he took forever to come back so I picked up something at Baskin Robbins.We went during the week. Maybe Monday so it wasn’t as busy as could be. Ultimately a deeply disappointing experience. From the moment my friend and I entered the restaurant, we could tell that the atmosphere was off. We wanted to sit in the restaurant, and when my friend politely asked if we could have a table for two (in the restaurant) she was rudely shut down and told that since we were only two people, we had to sit in the bar. At this point, I really just wanted to sit down and eat, so I said no problem, thank you . We were seated and service was as expected. We needed more time to look at the menu, and the server was kind enough to give us a few more minutes. However, after ordering, we waited 35 minutes before our server came back to tell us that my friend (allergic to shellfish) 's meal actually comes in contact with oil used to fry shellfish. Of course, we are immensely grateful that she warned us before my friend had a life-threatening allergic reaction. My friend orders something else and asks for a menu to keep at the table. We never got the menu. Her food came 20 minutes later. It was not until 8:40 PM (over an hour since I ordered) that my meal came. When it did, the manager told me that my original plate was taken to another table and this one was freshly made . It was cold. At this point I was just going to eat whatever I got because this tiny half-rack of ribs was $27.00 and I don 't like to waste food. On top of this, we weren 't even given cutlery, a refill of water, ketchup or any kind of condiment AND we were ignored until nearly 9:30 PM by any staff we tried to flag down for the bill. I really should not expect so much from a restaurant located in STC, because this was nothing short of pitiful. Food was not worth the kind of service we got. I 've been a server before and I know how tough it is, but this was horrific!!
Great location. Had the Chicken Madeira Rigatoni. Sauce was creamy, chicken was a bit dry. Overall, a good dish. I will recommend the Truffle Parm fries, they were really tasty. I can't remember what sauce we got but it was soo good. Will come again soon.
