Il Cantun Del Barbabuc - SAUZE D'OULX

The restaurant is a bit hidden, you have to knock on the door for them to open it. This gives another dimension to the visit. The menu does not have the easiest dishes. They positively surprised me!

Very good food- one of our favourite meals in Sauze. Particularly highlights were the ham hocks and the duck confit. The pudding of apple and pear sorbet with calvados was also a brilliant combo and fantastic end to the meal. Very cosy setting too.

I had to choose a more recent date, but we ate here Christmas 2017 and it still stands out as one of the best meals. It was a last minute decision we were lucky to find a table and the menu did not disappoint!

This restaurant was obtained by an old stable, in perfect style they mount a little dark but very intimate. few dishes but the right ones, the meat has dissolved in the mouth (try both wild boar and pork,) also excellent dessert. absolutely recommended. Nice clientele. Congratulations to the girl who served us. very courteous and professional. Dogs allowed. prices adapted to the quality.

It's always great. I love this place. the dishes are excellent, the location is cozy, the professional and friendly staff. How can we not return? Thank you.
