Taste Of Scandia - Sault Ste. Marie

The subs and cakes at this restaurant are fantastic. It is my top choice when I need to quickly get a cake for any event. They always have some available and ready to go at a moment's notice.

On my recent visit to town, I was told by locals that Subs Plus is the place to go for a delicious carrot cake. I initially thought they were joking, but I soon discovered they were absolutely right.

This was a great place for a quick lunch and take home baked Finnish pastries. Unfortunately, this place closed quite a few years ago.

My wife approved of almost every bite of food at this restaurant - it was authentic and delicious. While it's not necessarily my usual choice, it has now become a must-visit whenever we're in SSM. The service is outstanding and the atmosphere has a Swedish charm to it.
