Bidrage med feedbackNot a super fancy place but it had some charm. Probably the best of Thai I've ever had. I don't like a lot of spice, but even at heat level- 1 it was still flavourful and delicious. My friend enjoyed her curry and coconut rice.
When you walk in a restaurant and there's a 20 minute waiting list, you know it's going to be a good experience! Luckily there was one table of two available and everyone waiting was 4+ so we were seated right away. The restaurant is VERY casual, like a Asian decor styled café. We sat near a window with asian decor so you know they were Vietnamese. The hostesses who I assume was one of the owners was very friendly and seated us. Our waitress Shelby was very nice and friendly. She brought water upon greeting us and gave us a few minutes to look at the menu. We order drinks which were ok, I had a coco lullaby, not sure about the name of the drink but it was good. Rum with pineapple juice and ginger beer with some cilantro. The flavours went well! We ordered the pork spring rolls for apps and one of the curry dishes and a noodle dish which came with shrimp and chicken. The portion sizes are massive! The pork spring rolls were handmade, I thought they were too tightly wrapped and fried too long so they were almost burnt but they were served with a rice vinegar dip and hot sauce and peanut sauce and the combo of the three took away the burnt texture and taste which made it better. The dishes come with your choice of meat and you can get a spicy factor from 1 to 6. We chose 2 for both dishes. You can also order sticky or coconut rice for additional $3 but we stuck with the regular rice. The curry dish was good it had potatoes peppers cauliflower broccoli and our meat of choice, chicken. It was good. Well flavoured and a healthy portion of the sauce! The noodle dish could have fed a family of 4! Both were well presented and flavours were good. I wish the noodle dish could have been a different noodle to better compliment the flavours but it was very good and worked well regardless. The service and the attentiveness made this restaurant a great experience. The food was great and the price for the amount they give you is a steal! If I lived local this would be an amazing takeout option go to place when your hungry or drunk lol! Great find to fill your Asian food requirements
Not worth wasting your time here... I went here last night for my birthday with 14 guests. It took 2 hours to get our food. We watched as so many other tables around us arrived after us, got their food and finished before we got our food. When our food finally did come out, mine was lukewarm, a few orders were wrong and one was completely missed all together. The manager was gone home at that point as it was past 9pm and they were going to close soon. One of the chefs from the back came out to talk to us and he was a complete train wreck! He was not sincere or helpful, he was so rude and yelled you got your food you 're happy all I do is work in the back and smaller orders are easier . They didn 't give us a discount or anything besides the meal that was forgotten and came out 20 minutes after our table got our food. I used to love coming here but after this fiasco it 's not worth ever going back.
Tasty Authentic Thai Food in Saskatoon! I ate dinner at Keo's Kitchen in June 2016, during a short visit to Saskatoon. Keo's is a casual restaurant that serves a wide variety of traditional Thai and Asian dishes. The interior was spacious and had simple decor. I ordered the Pad Thai with tofu and it tasted so delicious, flavourful and authentic. I was offered the choice of how spicy I would like to my meal to be, ranging from 1 to 10 (with 10 being insanely spicy). I chose number 2 and although it left a slight burning sensation in my mouth after I had finished eating, I was pleased with my choice and it was the perfect level of spiciness for me. The portion size of my meal was very generous and the service was friendly and prompt. Because the majority of the dishes were made from rice noodles, most items on the menu were gluten-free which was great for a Celiac like myself. Many of the dishes also had the option of making them vegetarian, by substituting tofu for meat. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal at Keo's Kitchen and am looking forward to eating here again the next time I find myself in Saskatoon! I would highly recommend it to those who love Thai food.
Tried Keo's out for the first time ever tonight. I had the Dancing Prawns, which was a coconut shrimp dish. The portions were very large and delicious. Highly recommend!
