Bidrage med feedbackThis place is a real treat, the setting is beautiful (it feels a bit like you are in a castle), the rooms are tastefully decorated but the best bit is definitely the dinner. It's a set menu and the food is some of the best quality I've ever had, I would definitely recommend it. The only downside is that they do not provide breakfast and there's nowhere very close by to find breakfast.
Efficient service, great food and staff in the restaurant. We also stayed in a building close by which they operated. Beautifully restored, comfortable and spacious. No wifi. Empty fridge and kettle with no cups or provisions, maybe this was for breakfast as we did not order?
We were staying near Cuglieri, and were booked here by our hotel owners. Having read some of the recent reviews, I was slightly sceptical .... I needn 't have been!! I am not sure why there have been a few negative comments, but my experience of this place was first class. It is a little hard to find, especially in the dark, as it is right in the middle of the labyrinth of tiny lanes in this beautiful town .... but assuming you have found it, you won 't be dissapointed!! The dining experience feels quite formal only a few tables, ancient vaulted ceilings and quiet classical music, but that doesn 't equal expensive. There is no a la carte menu the two choices are the set menu with or without meat course (25euro/35euro). This takes the emphasis away from the main attraction the antipasti!! Eight (or was it ten) substantial starters ranging from stuffed zucchini to brushchetta to beef carpaccio. Assuming you still have a little room left there will be an excellent pasta course, and for the meat lovers this will be followed (most likely) by the speciality 'Bue Rosso ' beef tagliati. Wine is included so the best bit of the meal is the bill at the end!
The place is located in the center of the village. Unfortunately in the immediate vicinity there is very little parking. the environment looks great, finely furnished and stone walls. ideal for dinners and friends of couple. well presented and abundant courses. very kind and helpful staff. excellent price
Recommended by a friend we planned a trip to santu lussurgiu, small and very characteristic climbing city on the mountains of Oristanese. recommended stay also in this small hotel located in the historic center. absolutely positive experience. diffuse hotel but not too much (we were welcomed in the central part) result of a wise renovation that proposes times, floors and walls of a time, most with exposed stone. the atmosphere is suggestive accompanied by pleasant chamber music and favored by a touch of sophistication in the smallest details that you would not expect in this corner of the Sardinian. also to try the kitchen, very well maintained; also here with particular attention to detail with a preference for slowfood ingredients. the appetizers, various and original, but also the rest was qualitatively appreciable. service inexplicable for courtesy and professionalism.
