Della Fattoria Downtown Café

I went through this caffe and turned around for a light bake. the interaction I had with leah michael was one of the highlights of my day. they were both engaged, friendly and informative. actually my experience was so positiw that I came back to the full breakfast this morning. everyone who interacted with him seemed really friendly and smiling. the food had the hatch was very well done and the baked were raised. I would definitely recommend this place for eating; but it was the service that made it really special. leah and michael thank them for their love.

What a place! It was the week of Christmas so the decor was so fun and festive. But even mid year I’m sure this would be a treat! Don’t miss the honey lavender latte. Bread sells out EARLY

I really wanted to like Della Fattoria. I’ve been a part of the food industry for a long time so I understand the quality and how they stated as a farm bread bakery. Right now during COVID it’s a chaotic mess. Indoor seating in one room, separate pastry counter, separate bread counter, some other register, outdoor seating, etc. When you walk in it looks like you entered the circus, but there’s no host directing you where to go. With the pandemic going on now for over a year, there is more than enough time for a system. By late morning they were sold out of most the bakery items. Due to how the bakery line is, you have to order at the cashier. Unfortunately, nothing is labeled so you have to constantly go back and forth asking what items are, while you have 20 people behind you eager to pay. Please hire an operations manager who can put some order to the madness. Most people order ahead of time since they don’t want to deal with the inside. My salad I had was good.

I love this place! However, the service can be quite slow; we were prepared for it based on previous reviews, as it took the waiter about 20 minutes to take our order. The avocado toast is actually three pieces of toast, which is great for sharing.

It's true, Della Fattoria serves the best tuna melt in Sonoma County. Picture a delicious focaccia-style bread topped with flavorful tuna, crispy pepperoncini, and fresh arugula. It's absolutely delightful! The cappuccino made me feel like I was back in Italy—perfection! They even let us take home a complimentary loaf of bread. I love this place! Incredible food and amazing service—it's a true gem in Petaluma.
