Amaya - Santa Fe

The food was great with friendly staff. We really loved the lamb dish, everything on it was tasty. Beef tenderloin was also wonderful, but the mashed potato was so-so. The duck was delicious; and the salmon tasted good, but our hungry teen was able to eat it in five minutes. One complaint is that the lady who served a different table near us hit the back of my seat several times without noticing or saying anything :

We visited Amaya for dinner and loved it. There was a lively fire going, popping and crackling in the corner fireplace giving the dining room a wonderful light scent of pinon smoke. Service was prompt and if there was any critique, despite the dining room not being very busy service felt a little rushed at first. We managed to slow the pace a bit, which enabled us to really enjoy dinner. The wine selection was broad, easy to find options; the beer selection had something for most tastes. And dinner was excellent. Everything was cooked exactly as requested, near perfection the medium rare beef was perfectly colored, temperature, and excellent; to our surprise, the duck was also offered cooked to preference, and at medium rare was also excellent. We grabbed dessert the creme brulee was quite good. The chocolate lava cake, however, was just good lacking any 'lava. ' Overall, we loved our visit and would certainly go back!

Food was delicious. Service was wonderful. They had performers both nights we dined. It made for a great ambiance.

Great hotel, delicious food , very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Decor was perfect for a enjoyabke Santa Fe experience.

Hotel is clean and huge! Stayed for a night 2 weeks ago, the spa was closed because of COVID. Had dinner at their restaurant and oh, the food tasted superb! It took a long time but the wait was worth it.
