Bidrage med feedbackAfter reading reviews we decided to go here for our last night out of our holiday and whilst I wouldn't exactly say we were disappointed equally we weren't impressed either. The waitresses were absolutely lovely. We spoke to one about the Piri-Piri chicken as it says on the menu that it's hot, wanting to try a national dish but not wanting to dislike it we asked if the sauce could be served separately, the waitress said "of course" but the dry chicken came with no sauce. We passed this off as a misunderstanding and carried on. We were all served at slightly different times which meant the shared chips on the table were cold by the time we ate them and I asked for mayonnaise which again didn't appear, (I didn't want to go chasing waitresses as the food was getting cold already), we were the only family seated outside and there was one other couple in the restaurant when we arrived so it wasn't exactly busy. The kebabs were beautiful and very big but overall I didn't think it was good value for money and it was a bit of a disappointing end to our holiday, there are plenty of other places to eat. Also the seating area overlooks a road which was a little naff.
Our favourite restaurant in the Algarve. The food is always good and the service excellent. Nothing is too much bother. A lovely outside terrace and child friendly. A family run establishment. We have been visiting every year for some time and have never been disappointed.
We ate here three times, partly because it was a short walk from where we were staying and also because the food was generally very good, particularly the seafood
After reading the reviews we were pretty disappointed. The restaurant was very busy for a Tuesday night but hopelessly understaffed so service pretty poor . Three out of the four of us went for the prawn and monkfish curry but which was a huge disappointment as the sauce was very insipid and could have come out of a can . Maybe however it is because we are all Far East veterans! In fairness the grilled sea bass was pretty good as was the home made chocolate mousse.
Love this family run business which take huge pride in there restaurant.Prawns as main course are excellent.Lots to choose from and all cooked to order.Itsca must.
