Recipes Bakery is a place that makes you feel right at home when you walk in. Their staff is very polite and do a good job of customer service. Their blueberry scones and chocolate chip cookies were my favorite items that are served there!

I love a good cinnamon role, and this place had some of the best I've had.

What a little treasure! I have passed by this little cafe/bakery many times before--each time telling myself to get in there soon. Finally after six years living in town, I made it! The inside feels like you’re in someone’s cottage with antiques and Australian touches here and there. Not a surprise given the adorable Victorian home it’s housed in. I was greeted by the owner himself who was friendly and helpful with all my newbie questions.This business is Australian—uh huh, I said it right; full on Aussie. Completely unexpected…I gotta say. Get your Flat White here! Their vanilla syrup is made in house and I highly recommend it too. They offer a variety of fresh, homemade pastries. I ordered the banana bread which had a nice balance of sweet and savory, plus it was warmed up on a griddle. Just as Nana would do! I know they are known for their cinnamon rolls so I will definitely be back to try one when my sweet tooth kicks in. The quiches were also sold out when I came in and at high-demand. One gal said their quiche is the best in town! A bold statement.Given that the Holidays are coming up quickly, it’s also worth mentioning that they have a sign offering their handmade pies for purchase. I plan to preorder two for when we host our family Thanksgiving this year. Flavors and selections are endless (pumpkin, apple, berries, and the list goes on).Hooroo mate! I love cinnamon rolls so much and this cinnamon roll is the best I have had. The atmosphere of this bakery is laid back. The gentleman that took my order was friendly and brought a warmth about his shop that was comforting. Highly recommend going here and if you don't you are truly missing out on a true gem.
