Zia Marie - Sandbridge

We arrived almost 25 minutes before our reservation but were immediately seated. Our server, Chloe, was great. Our meals arrived at the table at the time of our original reservation. The shrimp ala vodka and the NY strip were both excellent.

Excellent experience as usual. Our server Ava was new and did a fantastic job. Her enthusiasm and service was outstanding. Our only ask is for a few more menu changes, more often. Maybe a Bolognese Spaghetti dish? Wine choices are excellent. Thanks, we'll be back.

Received wine glasses with lipstick still on them. Ridiculously hot and loud in the restaurant tonight. Food was fabulous. I had grilled octopus for the first time. Lovely! Waitresses must be over worked as NO personality

Very disappointed in our experience at Zia Marie's. Menu offers no details on dishes served so you have to ask about any dish you are interested in. The waitress was very helpful with that the service was good. We were seated in the corner straight down from the front door, it was warm when were seated but by the time our food came we were sweating it was still so loud we could not hear each other. My eggplant parm was delicious but the side of spaghetti was overcooked. My husband had the Chicken Marie, he said it was good but he was so hot we just wanted to leave.

It has been awhile since we've visited an authentic Italian restaurant. If you're into national chains, please consider this LOCAL VIRGINIA BEACH treasure...so local that the main message on the restaurant's marquee endearingly welcomes the newest and youngest ZIA MARIE family member!
