Bidrage med feedbackOne of the few HK-style cafes in the area, this place serves some delicious nostalgic Hk food. They make really good baked pork jelly dishes. If you're hungry, go with the Big Brother. This time I got the special with the 3 sauces baked pork chop black pepper, tomatoes and cream white sauce) that comes with a drink. Your Hk milk tea is also quite legit. I definitely recommend it! You now have a special for lobster with e-nudel-broats type of noodle that was previously fried). Really delicious and good price! I will definitely order it again!
Hainan Chicken ordered rice last night. Rice was so dry and hard. Chicken had little meat only skin. Mostly from the back of the chicken. It costs over $20.35 with a small size of ice lemon tea. Taste of chicken was ok, but the value of meal I will give only 2.5 out of 5 stars. I will not offer rice and chicken if I can not offer the good quality and value for my customers and I know how important to keep the business, but it is easy to ruin the business with few careless mistakes. Hopefully, the owner will notice this post and improve their dish or just get off the menu for good.
One of the best Hong Kong-style cafés in the BayArea. You have to try.
Hong Kong style diner food. Great choice of comfort food and regular dishes. HK-style milk tea is so sweet and creamy. Would recommend.
The meat is all tendons, the fried rice is very very plain, and the steak combo is not steak, it's reheated cutlet and fries smothered in a thick layer of sweet gravy??? Did I forget to mention it's duck and VIENNA sausage. It costs 20+ too...expected beef at least but no. The beef itself when it's not all tendons is decent but everything else is a pass. I don't know if it's all cornstarch in it but it tasted like cornstarch. Wait was long and staff was unresponsive too.
