Bidrage med feedbackBest breakfast place. ...the buttermilk pancakes and eggs florentine were the best. All so fresh. Highly recommend this place!
Cute little place with great food and a staff that is nice and very efficient. I had the flour burrito with, eggs, cheese and chorizo. It was a awesome!!!
There's a vast world of culinary experiences out there, and every now and then, I venture beyond the city to run errands or visit random spots like a full-sized Target or a mall. When I do, I always try to seek out those hidden gems that locals love but that others often overlook. On one such trip to South San Francisco, I discovered a quaint little restaurant situated in a somewhat nondescript strip mall. It's called Jo Ann's Cafe. As the sun glinted off its entrance, I thought to myself, this must be the perfect place for a meal today. The sunlight felt like a sign—though it might have just been poor camera lighting! It was quite fortunate that we circled back after initially missing the café, as the strip of shops where it's located is pretty unremarkable.
This is a fantastic little spot! We were visiting from out of town and searching for a breakfast place. We chose to sit at the bar, which allowed us to see all the dishes being served, and they all looked amazing! I highly recommend it!
I was warmly welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. I decided to sit at the counter, and the waitress promptly took my drink order: a black tea. While I was perusing the menu, I asked the gentleman sitting next to me what he was eating. The cook overheard our conversation and kindly showed me the dish. I decided to order what he was having – the 'Herbavoracious.' This meal was incredibly filling, and I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.
