Garcia Barbecue - San Antonio

We had Garcia Barbecue today and they were amazing! The team working was friendly and made our event fun (even in 100+ degree heat). I recommend the pork nachos!!Thank you for catering our event, we’ve had so many positive comments from the lunch!!

Ate here awhile back with the family and was really looking forward to it because I love BBQ but when I tried the rib plate, it just didn't hit the spot, probably to much fat and not enough meat but I know that's how it goes sometime when the pit master has to work what is sold to him, the potato salad was ok but was really hoping for that to be the winner but it let me down and the same for the bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers, they were just too sweet and not crispy enough for my liking but I'll definitely be back in the future to give it another shot because everyone was really friendly and its a place to bring your family and just enjoy the day at the Divide.

I don't claim to be the worlds expert on barbecue, but I have been around the block and I can say, hand on heart, this is the best barbecue I have had in my 51 years on this planet. I had the brisket sandwich and the queso nachos. The brisket was absolutely perfect, accented with their own sauce, onions and pickles. Sublime. The nachos, which as obviously popular were great, although I was too full to really enjoy it. The pulled pork on top was of obvious quality however. Also, the guys in the truck are super nice. And a major shout out to the Divide, which hosts Garcia's truck. It is a quirky venue with great beer and friendly staff. I had a few cold ones, watched track and field on TV and chatted with the bartenders and the friendly locals. Just a great afternoon. If you are in the area, it is worth the trip

A must to do for the best nachos we have ever eaten! We had one of the brisket and one of the pulled pork nachos. Absolutely delicious. Located in food truck pavilion at the west end of Babcock as it ties into Scenic drive. Don't miss this one! We have eaten nachos all over and there is none better than Garcia!
