Sextant Coffee Roasters - San Andreas

We were wonderfully welcomed at Sextant! Their coffee is beautifully presented (and good! and we were even offered a pastry because they were out of croissants. Very very cool place, I recommend!

The bakery is expensive but offers high-quality products. However, the coffee is not worth the price - a $6 8oz flat white without latte art that tastes no better than a regular Starbucks drink. The Wi-Fi is reliable and the atmosphere of the space is pleasant.

Been subscribing to their monthly coffee delivery for years now!

The cafe latte at this restaurant is excellent, with a perfect blend of espresso, milk, and crema. I appreciate that they roast their own beans and was able to watch the roasting process onsite, while breathing in the wonderful aroma of coffee. The service was average, but the barista mentioned that he was a satisfied regular customer before working there, which is always a good sign. What sets this place apart is the secluded courtyard in the back where you can enjoy the sun and some privacy in the bustling SoMa district. If you navigate your way to Sextant, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely store, very friendly staff. I got a very good Yirgacheffe pour over and they also had beans available.
