Monarca - Salt Lake City

This was a delicious meal! Also, sitting outside was great on a perfect day. We started with some queso and a pineapple piña colada, both amazing! I had the fish tacos which were fantastic. Definitely recommend this place. Service was just a little slow but not terrible.

Staff was very accommodating- we didn’t have reservations and they still figured out how to get us in quickly so we could eat. The menu is amazing and I wish I could have tasted all the lovely dishes I saw at peoples tables. My favorite was the pina colada drink

This is such a beautiful and modern restaurant. The staff was very friendly, and all the food was amazing. We ended up ordering 5 different things and just sharing them around the table for everyone to try. The birria quesadilla was my absolute favorite. And the guacamole was amazing. I was told they make it at your table, but I guess they no longer do that — which is a little bit of a bummer. But it was still so delicious! It's a nice place that still feels casual. The food was excellent and the staff was nice. The bartender, especially, was very welcoming.

I think is so bad how lots of families come eat here WITH KIDS and there's no baby changing station. Or anything to change your babies DIAPER like come on.. ‍ ️ ‍ ️ ‍ ️
