Hires Big H - Salt Lake City

We had not been to Hires for a few years. We were excited to stop in for dinner. Our burgers, onion rings and fries were good, The prices, in my opinion, were outrageously over priced. Almost $18.00 to $19.00 for a combo of burger, fries rings a drink! We could have gone next door to Ruby River had steaks for what it cost here) The service was barely adequate. Our server never came back to check on us after delivering food. Did not get drink refills or needed ketchup. We can get a comparable meal at Crown Burger for less! Hires was very busy and loud- not much in the way of atmosphere. We won't be back.

Was the best burger and fries . Was worth the trip to Salt Lake. Can't wait to go back.

We love everything about Hires! When we fly in it’s the first place we go!

Great strawberry banana shake. The curbside wait on a Wednesday evening was a little long. We almost were ready to pull away when a waitress came to our car window. I'm glad we stayed.

Very busy place parking gets crazy as I was blocked in took me 15 minutes of maneuvering to get our and was only able to do so with the help of a kind gentleman holding his infant daughter. Print on menu is extremely small and difficult to read. I ordered what I thought was the Big H combo but was presented with a burger and nothing else. Ended up getting some frys though. Once food brought to table not a sole came by to check on me which I found to be uninviting. But hey the place was packed and iam assuming others had a better experience than I walked away with. Go try it out for yourselves, and see what type of experience you walk away with having.
