Fantastic ice cream the best in town huge choice very popular benches outside to sit down a must when you are in Salo.

We stopped here because we had just had lunch next door. It seemed to good to pass by: a gelateria by the lake. Best gelato ever. Amazing! It was my sister's first gelato and she loved it. We had to explain that not all gelato was this good and that this was extraordinary. My son had been in Italy for a year and even he thought it was the best gelato he had ever had. I also bought chocolate to bring back for people and everyone raved about that, too.

We had a ice cream at La Casa del Dolce and it was good. However, one scope costs 2€ that's quite expensive from my point of view. The location is nice as it is close to the waterfront and you can enjoy the ice cream a bit away from the main tourist spots.
