Sakura Japanese - Salem

We love Sakura! The flavors are on par with chic Japanese restaurants, but with a much cheaper price. The portions of food are very generous. We often get two meals to go; it is enough to feed our family of two adults and two small children and still have some leftovers. I have made a picture of all foods that come with ONE Entree (soup, salad, rice, vegetables and meat). The staff is very friendly and always ready to go the extra mile. Yesterday they brought our To-Go food into the car without request, so we didn't have to get the children out of the vehicle! The small, intimate atmosphere makes it a date night favorite!

Always delicious...used to work nearby and eat here at least once a week and perform once a week. I moved away, and it just happened that I was in the neighborhood tonight, so I managed to come by. The same amazing and efficient service....sam fantastic and delicious food as always! Man, I missed this place!!! I think the best Japanese. It was almost a year since the owners saw me, and they still remembered my name where I worked, and what I usually order to eat and drink! Impressive and unbelievable!!!!!

Like an old worn shoe that always fits perfectly, this place never changes. Great Hibachi food without the Chiop Show like the other places in the city. Food comes fast and is always good. Lunch is the time to go to this place for a deal. In fact, I've never been there. I'll always be filled with a few to go.

Delicious! I always thought this place was like Tokyo Express, and I'm not a fan of Tokyo Express, so I never wanted to eat in Sakura. But believe me when I tell you... Tokyo Express doesn't hold a flame for Sakura. I and my wife went out. I ordered steak (Med Well) shrimp with white rice and vegetables and my wife ordered her Hibachi chicken. We received both our Entrées, as well as salad with a delicious ginger dressing, soup, and one side of the Yaum sauce and one side of the Teriyaki sauce. It was AMAZING!!! The best food we had in a long time and I am sad that they are not open today (it is Christmas lol).

Best food in town. We have been coming here for 15 years, and make a special stop everytime that we are in town. The food has been consistently exceptional. We always end up ordering extra, because one meal is never enough for us. The chicken, steak, shrimp, vegetables, rice, soup, and salad are all delicious. This Japanese steakhouse is not one of those that puts on a show by cooking the food in front of you. The magic all happens in the kitchen, and you are rewarded with a wonderful meal at a very reasonable price.
