Bidrage med feedbackI first discovered atomic coffee in a small boutique grocery store in New York City. After I stocked up with the remaining unsweetened lattes, I took to the internet to do some research of these guys. They're an up and coming coffee roaster out of the Greater Boston area that seem to accompany a great healthy taste with environmentally sustainable practices! Bravo to them. Soon after my discovery, I moved to the Southern California region. I look forward to the Atomic Coffee Roasters expansion to LA one day.
Since opening a small sandwich shop in Gloucester three years ago, Atomic Cafe Coffee Roasters has been our exclusive coffee provider, and we wouldn't have it any other way. From the ethical sourcing of quality beans, to their small batch roasting, to the personalized service, we just cannot say enough good about our experience with Atomic Cafe as a vendor for our business. Of course, having them just a few miles away on the North Shore is a wonderful opportunity for us to support a local business, as well. Pay no attention to the 2-star reviewer who was disappointed that this was not a retail outlet. This location is everything its listing claims it to be and does not deserve a negative review for not living-up to the erroneous preconceived notions of that user.
I actually live in wisconsin, but this is the only coffee I'll ever buy. it broke freshly just before shopping. my personal favorite is the black velvet bean for my breville espresso machine and the rocked mixture for drip and pour. also the customer service is wonderful! I love their atomic cups that I could also buy from the website.
I've probably tried dozens of various types of coffee roasters. Atomic Coffee is one of, if not, the best coffee I've had. It's always fresh and every blend single origin I've tried has been outstanding. The Diesel Dark and French Roasts are dark, but smooth. They're not burnt tasting like others I've had.The House Blend is very good as well. It's a tad on the darker side of med. roasts, but great nonetheless. The Colombia Single Origin is tasty too and one that I will order again. The only gripe I had was when they ground the coffee for french press. It was finer than what I typically grind. Normally I grind my own beans but at the time I didn't have access to a grinder. Even though I couldn't use it for french press, I can't ding them a star because their coffee has always been so good.
